As many of you may know, prior to teaching, I interviewed, hires, reviewed, and (sometimes) fired people for two previous employers. Many of the situations mentioned in this article have also happened during some of the interviews I conducted. They are all really common sense, but sometimes we get so caught up in the job hunting process that we don’t realize that some of the things we do will hurt our chances at a successful job interview.
